The 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend will take place in San Francisco from February 14-16, marking the first time the event has been held in the Bay Area since 2000. Major changes to the format include a new All-Star Game tournament, where three teams, drafted by Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith, will compete in a mini single-elimination tournament. The games will be played to 40 points, and the winning team will be crowned the 2025 NBA All-Star champion.
The weekend's schedule is packed with exciting events:
- Friday, Feb. 14: Events include the Rising Stars practice (12:30 p.m.), the Celebrity Game (7 p.m.), and the Rising Stars Challenge (9 p.m.).
- Saturday, Feb. 15: Highlights include the NBA All-Star Practice & Media Day (2 p.m.), the HBCU Classic (5 p.m.), and All-Star Saturday Night (8 p.m.), featuring the Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest.
- Sunday, Feb. 17: The NBA Legends Brunch (2 p.m.) and the G League Up Next Game (3:30 p.m.) lead up to the highly anticipated NBA All-Star Game at 8 p.m.
This year's festivities will be broadcast on various platforms including NBA TV, TNT, and truTV.
