Halsey recently shared the story of how her fiancé, Avan Jogia, proposed to her in Barcelona during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The couple, who have been together since October 2023, traveled to Barcelona for their anniversary. While there, they took a boat ride, a shared passion of theirs. Halsey briefly considered the idea of a proposal but dismissed it, thinking they were too relaxed. However, Jogia surprised her by pulling out a ring and asking, "What's a little bit of marriage between friends?" Halsey happily agreed, joking that she'd prefer to do "a lot of it." The proposal was especially meaningful as Barcelona holds personal significance for them. Halsey had also previously revealed in a podcast that she wasn't sure she was ready for marriage, but the depth of her feelings for Jogia made her confident in the decision.
